memory rocks

While on vacation I saw someone post about these 

through facebook.

For the life of me, once returning home 

I couldn't find the original source.

But the idea is pretty simple.

And thankfully I read about it while we were in Hawaii.

On one of our snorkeling days I had each of us

pick a favorite rock to paint into a memory stone.

Swimming in the sea.

The turtles.

Such gentle giants.

Peacefully gliding by,

without a care in the world.

It didn't surprise me

that it's a memory we all want to keep.
